Festivals Light Up Atmasantulana Village and Other News

he Atmasantulana Village celebrated all the festival days from Navratri right up to Deepawali in our usual traditional styles. From daily aratis for the nine devis, to special meditations for Kojagiri, Dussehra, Dhanatrayodashi and Deepawali. From fried salty snacks that are good for the season, to the sweets that prepare us for the coming winter. From early morning abhyang massages with oil and herbal powder to cleaning, decorating and worshipping our homes, offices, tools and symbols of wealth, the residents and extended communities of the Atmasantulana Village proudly live, enjoy and promote the traditions of the designed by the ancient Rishis that help us become one with each other and with Nature. We wish our a Deepawali and Prosperous New Year!

SOM Program Workshops
Thomas Trinter continues his offering of the SOM Program Workshop in various spaces. On Sunday 8th October, he conducted another Workshop in Munich with a small but focused group and received some very good feedback.

As noted by Thomas, the participants came with different motivations. Some were looking for a method to relax physically, others to relax mentally. Then there were participants who were looking for an introduction to a regular meditation practice. For all these people, the SOM program is the right thing.

With 7 participants, the room was well filled. Some participants reported the positive energy they perceived. Feedback from participants was very positive. Some expressed that they are now using this workshop as an opportunity to begin or resume their own meditation and yoga practice.

Dhanatrayodashi Celebrated with Panchakarma patients group at Atmasantulana Village
The deity of Dhanatrayodashi is Lord Dhanvantari, the deity of . To celebrate this day with a purposeful message the Atmasantulana Village had an entertaining and interactive session with the residential patients. Dr. Malvika Tambe and Shri Sunil Tambe conducted a live demonstration of easy Ayurvedic home remedies. Patients could not only see the recipes being made but were also asked to make some of the remedies themselves.
